Mastery of dialects is an indispensable skill. Whether it’s preparing for an upcoming project, or embodying a specific manner of speaking for an audition - the art of having the ability to readily be able to drop into a dialect is something every actor should have at their disposal. This 3 session introductory course will provide the tools to transcribe text into any appropriate dialect befitting of your type. By learning IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), you will be able to quickly transform your speaking voice for the proper occasion.
